How Can Full Mouth Dental Reconstruction from Paladin Dental Help?

Damage or dysfunction to your teeth can place an ongoing cost to both your physical and mental health, meaning you want the solution to come from a professional in Australia who has experience in this field. Full mouth dental reconstruction is also commonly known as rehabilitation or restoration, and depending on your particular condition, the treatment needed may be conducted by a team of professionals within their given field, such as oral surgeons, endodontists, restorative dentists, and orthodontists. The procedure will likely involve replacing vacant or impaired teeth with secure prostheses that imitate the aesthetics and ability of their natural counterparts.

Together, your team will create and present you with a comprehensive, tailored treatment strategy with the objective of rebuilding the optimal dental structure in your mouth, not only to prevent more decay or impairment to occur, but enabling you to reclaim your ability to have improved function and show-off a bright, healthy smile. This can either be conducted in a single visit to our dental clinic, or extended over visits where we gradually complete milestones within the treatment plan.

What are the features and benefits of a full mouth reconstruction?

As treatment is holistic the results are often more complete than a series of treatments over an extended period, added benefits can also include,

  • addressing bite and chronic jaw pain problems thus relieving you of speech or chewing issues.
  • boosting your confidence and make you more willing to show off a beautiful smile.
  • by fixing a number of your dental issues at once,  visits can be reduced thus saving time and giving you more immediate results.

Paladin dental brings you an in-house anaesthetist for comfort and convenience

Dental services in a hospital are becoming increasingly difficult to book as the health systems deal with larger volumes and fewer resources. Even if hospitals do make theatres available, the wait times and availability of specific dental tools and instruments is restricted; particularly the dentists chair. Hospital beds are completely horizontal and do not allow for the ergonomics required of patient and dentist that can be obtained by a dental chair. These are some of the reasons that Paladin Dental has chosen to bring in an anaesthetist so that we can provide our clients with more comfort and convenience.

What is an anaesthetist?

To qualify as an anaesthetist (aka anesthesiologist) requires completion of an undergraduate degree in medicine and at least two years working within the hospital system followed by another five years to become specialists in the field of anaesthesiology.  As these specialists are highly qualified and trained, it would not be viable to have them on site at all hours without need. We do however plan to have our anaesthetist attend the clinic with increasing frequency as demand requires.
